Alexander the Great’s Gordian Knot

£8

Alexander the Great (356BC-323BC) is perhaps the greatest military general of all time and his conquests extend from Greece to India. Although his empire was short lived, his legacy was to extend Greek culture to the whole of the civilized world. His Gordians Knot was inspired by a cart that was tied to a post, which no-one could free.

The aim of this puzzle is to free the rope from its metal frame.
