Making a purchase
With Hand Held Puzzles this couldn’t be easier. Just simply browse our products and add any you wish to buy into the shopping basket. Once you have finished choosing your selection, click on checkout where you will be asked to fill in those all important details we need to complete the order.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. If you are shopping from outside the UK, Welcome! Then, please would you email through your order via the Contact Us page. We can then tell you how much your postage is going to be and how to pay for your items.
When confirmation of your order is received, this indicates that we have received your order. This does not mean that a contract exists between us yet. When we indicate acceptance of your order and send you an invoice, this is the contract. We have added this term to protect us in case we have made a mistake in our pricing (either over or under priced goods) or that we are unable to supply you with what you have ordered. In both these cases we will contact you first to agree what we do next.
Postage and Delivery
Postage – Our standard postage is calculated based on the weight of your order and delivery is free on all orders above £40. We also offer an Express Despatch Service which is also calculated based on the weight of your order but at a higher rate. This charge is instead of the standard delivery charge, but applicable to all sizes of order. Orders being sent to addresses outside the UK will have a charge for postage/courier, which will also be calculated by the weight of your order. There will be a different rate depending on whether the order is to be sent to the EU or for the rest of the world (see making a purchase, to find out more).
Delivery – All orders received by 4pm, Monday to Friday, will be sent 1st class Royal Mail, within 2-3 days of placing an order. Please allow 3-5 working days for your items to be delivered. If we cannot send your item within a week of ordering, we will email you. If you need your items urgently, please choose the Express Despatch Service when placing your order.
Back Orders
If the item you wish to buy is out of stock, we do apologise, and will make sure we back order for you. We will contact you to advise of our low stock, giving you the option to cancel or wait for our delivery.
Credit Card Security
When an order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. None of these numbers is held in any text format on our website.

Privacy Policy
Hand Held Puzzles Limited does not disclose any buyers’ information to third parties, other than when orders are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket and to store your details if you select the ‘remember me’ option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools/Internet Options/Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy
Any errors or omissions relating to orders must be reported to us as soon as you are able, enabling us to sort replacements.
Unless otherwise stated, we offer a full money back guarantee if goods are returned within 7 days of receipt. We regret that goods returned damaged or in damaged packing cannot be refunded. Please note that returns are entirely the customers’ responsibility, and we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that are damaged en route or that do not arrive back. Therefore we suggest that you insure against loss when posting items back. Postage will only be refunded in the case of damaged or faulty goods.
Refunds will be given once we have received the item back.
